Default Installing a series 2 dash cluster in a series 1 and getting speedo to work with r154

hey guys , ive nearly finished the basics of my 1jz conversion into my series 1 mx83 now the last bit im up to is the speedo, i got a series 2 cluster that has the digital input for the speedo signal and installed it in my s1 so far everything's working including tacho ( made diy tach adapter) i just need to get the speedo working, i sourced my conversion from a jzx90 so im currently running 1jzgte and a remote shifter r154, i found the speedo sensor in the gearbox (drivers side) and it has 3 wires coming out of it i also notice the loom runs up the gearbox but i don't know where it goes from there? what do i have to run from the speedo sensor on the gearbox to the series 2 dash cluster to get the speedo to work? i tried searching it but i think its abit to specific for the search function.

Thanks in advance for any help

the signal wire runs from the left side pin in the sender when looking at the back of it's plug with the key at the top. If you've got power and ground to the other two pins at the sensor already then you only need to get the signal wire up to the cluster. In a series 2 MX83 it's pin 4 in the white 16-pin plug behind the glovebox that connects to the flying lead of the dash loom, yellow wire. In a JZX81 engine loom they're it's in the same plug/position.

totally depends on what looms are in your car. Easiest way would be to run a new sensor wire from the box to the back of the S2 cluster.

the white plug sits behind the glove box, I can't remember what plug in the back of an S2 cluster is the speedo wire.

s1 are cable so wire is missing
no where to be seen in s1 car
so find wire on speedo sensor trace it to glovebox
then get another terminal to suit yr dash plugs
so basicallly run wire froms ensor to dash
look at tracks on dash and find the p terminal on back of speedo in dash
