Default Supra calipers same as Hilux???

Supra 4 pot calipers are type S12W, but I have also found this same type was used on Hilux models also.

Been doing a lot of research but can't find a definite answer. Does anyone know if they are exactly the same or not?

    Thanks

Not sure which model supra your are referring to but here are some details.

The S12W generally refers to the hilux and fit about 20mm of rotor, where as the only 4 spot supra calipers I have seen are for about 32mm of rotor.

So I would say front calipers NO

Sorry I'm talking about JZA80. The model number I found below.

    http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/tec...ont-jza80.html

The part number for these calipers is 47730-14260 RH & 47750-14270 LH.

Does anyone know the Hilux part number for the Front calipers the S12W models of course?

I figure there not the same but they do have the same model number so I would like to know how similar they are.

the S12W refers to the marking on the caliper case, there may be a part number s12W which in not the hilux unit.

Here is a web site for replacement/re-manufactured caliper with sizes

looking at the pictures and sizes they not interchangeable

The EPC says no! The part numbers for the JZA80 calipers do not match any standard part numbers for any other vehicle.

My understanding though is that there are exceptions to this. For instance I believe that the jzx100 TRD brakes are actually JZA80 supra 4 pots with different offset nuts.
