    Default Connecting 550s on a 7MGTE

    Ey all,

Im in the process of installing 550cc injectors on my 7MGTE, I have a question regarding the new wireing harnesses for the 550s.

I recieved no wiring diagram with them, just the harnesses and the injectors. There seems to be no markings on the new plug wires, Im lost, how I will determine the polarity of the plugs?... It seems the only way is to wire the plugs is so that the notch in the current plugs are the same on the new ones if ya get me...

Here is the old plug & injector, I have circuled the notch,

Here is the new plug, followed by the new injector, once again I have circuled the notch

As I said, what im thinking is that if I wire the new plugs so that the notch is in the same place as the old one, it should be right... I know its basically a stab in the dark but that about all I can do with out any wireing diagrams.

Any help will be much appreciated.
    Cheers all

Injectors arent polarity sensitive. Either that, or I was just very lucky when I wired mine in

Whatthe is correct. They can go either way how ever i would try to keep them the same way you had them or atleast have the + power going to the same side (ie left or right) of the injector terminal on all injectors.

    That what i do anyway!

That seems fair, considering the wires on the plugs, that came with the injectors have no markings on them what so ever...

I looked in the TSRM, it only shows the mechanical side of the injectors, nothing about the electrical side.

See what the other fellas rekon, but I'm happy with your opinion.

    Thanx, +1 rep
