4age smallport cut 'n' shut SA

hey guys just wondering if anyone knows where to get a small port manifold cut n shut in SA? Japanese motor sport have had the manifold for over 3 weeks after originally telling me it would take 2 days, The original quote was for $250 but now it is double that?

does anyone know how much they should usually cost? or where would be a cheaper place to get it done.

$250 or a bit over seems fair to me, not sure about double that? if its done the way the one i have sitting here looks like........ the throttle body flange was just cut off the back then welded onto the front after it had been cut off, then a blanking plate bolted to the back were the throttle body flange was originally. and the throttle cable mount swapped around.

unless there were useing a mill to mill the sections off it cant take that long to cut it off with a band saw, then an hours welding tops (well it wouldnt take me more than an hours tig welding)
alloy plate to blank the hole would be around $10?

depends on how they have done it i guess?

hell if my alloy welding skills were at a point that i thought were good enough to charge for id think about doin it for ya, would need to post it down and back though (being in VIC)
