Does the engine idle and rev up ok, not missing or anything?
OK so i have pretty much sorted out all my bugs from my conversion now except this one!!
If i floor it off the mark in 1st gear it revs out and drives like a NA no pull wha so ever
Now driving along if i floor it it bogs down and goes nowere
Now if i try both problems with the throttle not quite at the floor i get a decent pull like its supposed to but i have to constantly feather the throttle to keep it in the sweet spot otherwise it bogs down shudders and carrys on but doing this im also anly at 3/4 throttle
So whats the Go
im trying to get this sorted befor friday as im booked in for a dyno tune and to have my new blitz sbc id fitted
Ps the Car is a converted JZS160 to 161 with the 2jz gte vvti
im getting no error codes cheers Reece

1 brick under pedal will get your problem sorted
2 more seriously, I vote for you're using wrong air duct/air filter setup, and false MAF reading results

Engine conversion is when you drive a shitbox which costs a whole LEXUS to own
My car did something similar after an engine swap which turned out to be map sensor wire was cut just before the computer. It would only accelerate under light throttle and ran like there was a rag stuck in the intake.
Have you tried cleaning the maf sensor.
