    Default 4AGZE idle and ISCV

    Hello,

I'm trying to solve a bit of an issue which i think is common amoungst 4AGZE, and that is when i jump off the throttle the rev's will fall down to about 400-500rpm then rise again to sometimes between 700-1100 rpm. Would the ISCV play a part in helping sustain the revs or does the iscv purely control the idle only.

I've seen what the iscv looks like on 1g and 7m's but never looked on the 4agze, where would it be located, i assume it would be worth cleaning it out even if its not hte problem.

My other question is, because i have a wolf3d, does this mean the iscv is not controlled anymore or could the wolf be wired in to control it ?

    Thanks

ya the wolf would have to control it, ( check a manual and see if they support idle control) a good tuner can play with it and help it stabilise it self at idle. i had a big fmic and piping on mine ages ago, and i had the idle pretty good. sometimes it was fine, sometimes it would hunt for a lil bit then settle down.
i dont have a funny or cool signature.

cheers fixererererer... I guess its worth pulling the ISCV out and giving it a good clean, cause i can have a guess if its like everything else on the car when i bought it, its going to be f**ked and filthy.
Yeah mine does the same, sometimes returns to good, othertimes drop then raises

I've got the wolf manual and having a look through it does have a control for it, i'm a bit lost how its connected through, because when i play around with hte wolf control for the idle it seems to not really have much effect, it seems the idle screw control it.

Any ideas where i might be able to find, anyone got a photo they can shoot up so i can see what im looking for? I assume it would be hanging around the intake somewhere...

no point cleaning it, if its not even connected. i think the iscv is on the throttle pipe, and its a 4 pin straight connector (----). i cant remember ill dig through some old pix and see if i can find something.

but the dude tuning the wolf, can play with the adjustments to try get it settled without a idle control valve.

The ISCV has a 3 pin connector and the motor is a green colour.
