Default ordering electrical plugs from toyota

as title says, how would i go about doing this?

both 1MZFE's i have are sans the alternator wiring, and i wasnt able to get a hold of them, as they're part of the body loom.

the big cable isnt an issue, but the 3 pin bastard is.

i have a similar plug that will fit if i file down some of the plastic tabs, but ideally id like to get a new plug and pin it with the appropriate colours, and guage wiring.

Places like Allanco, Ashdowns, Don Kyatt spare parts sometimes sell "Adapter plugs" which go from the round to "Oval" (More aimed at replacement Lexus and Landcruiser alternators) and I go thru them faster than I can get them as the plugs invariably break when you try to remove them, I also use them for conversions to do just like you want to and have just used up my last one. Wreckers like JTW will sometimes cut the plug off a loom if you ask nicely and most Toyota 4WDs or light commercials use the same plugs. There's also this mob in the US... (I have been getting stuff lately delivered quicker from the US than interstate... go figure)

And somewhere around I have a list of Toyota part nos for the plugs. But where is anyones guess ATM due to a computer failure

Edit. Found it, complete Toyota "Electrical wiring repair manual" and way to large to upload, so if you want a copy it's a "Burn to CD" or stick on one of those USB thingy type deals

No prob. Sorta helps when you do this sort of thing everyday.. I'm not an autosparky (I'm a mechanic) but do spend a lot of time doing wire-ups and repairing wiring. Tomorrows job is wire a 3RZ-FE into an '85 Diesel Hilux or I also have the choice of wiring a UZZ31 powertrain into a '94 4runner complete with the "Shift on the fly" 4wd system from a Surf and that was after finishing 1UZ into '01 'Lux today (Drive in drive out conversion, owner feels that it looks like a factory build).

By the way I keep all of the looms out of halfcuts and Surfs that I wreck as when you throw them out you need something off it the next day for another job. Any other plugs I may have but it's a "Come and have a rummage then leave a donation in the fridge". Then there's the wanting a bit of wire the same colour

The PDF is the manual that I have and It took ages to download it via a torrent and can't remember where I got it from as I've had it for 4 years.

Yes you can get them from Toyota but in WA that is also a bit "Hit 'N' miss" depending on which dealer you go thru.An example is an enquiry I had today from a client wanting new mudflaps for his "Widebody" Surf. He called his local dearlership (as he couldn't find a second hand set) to be told "NLA". I called the dealer that I use with the part numbers to find $400 for a set ex Japan, called the client back and suggested he go thru one of the sponsors here to be told "Just order them as I can't be bothered stuffing around any more".

Anyhow the Toyota part no on the PDF mentioned is RM1022E and no they won't sell it to you, I have tried many times to get Toyota factory manuals via parts and service and also specialist bookshops (you can get them for other makes and models). This said Toyota USA have the "Techinfo" site which is subscription only "For technicians" so when needed I buy a 24 hour subscription and download untill my heart is content if you will. Come to think of it that's probably where I got that PDF from in the first place
