that sounds pretty classic of a wheel balance issue.A friends civic does this and get worse until 90km/h then it stops and starts again at 110km/h

ahhhhwe had a simular issue with a magna we had entered in a motorkhana.. seems the handbrake liked to lock the wheels at the same points every time..
Noob question: Does that mean the brakes were out of round? or just coincidence.
probably, or just because once it had a bit flatspot on it, that was the spot it kept locking on.. we were being pretty mean to it..
Well my friend liked to drive on this dirt road to his holiday house and it had massive dirt corners and on every single corner he would reef the handbrake. The flat spots were more or less from that and doing a little bit of it on the road i think.
I'd imagine that once you get a decent flat spot that as the wheel turns over and you've got the handbrake up and theoretically at that point on the tyre there would be the least touching the ground just before it goes totally flat then it would be more likely to lock up there.
I vote this thread gets changed from wheel bearings to "official handbrake dedicated thread"![]()

sori, but the letters for car type don't jump out at me. Is it front or rear wheel drive?
