    Default 2tg mid rear sump conversion

    Has anyone tried to convert a 2tg to a mid rear sump? the problems with the oil pump its to high and has a cast in pickup.
    Would much appreciate any ideas on this one...

    So after looking at the "T" series relatives I do believe the solution is in using a "Y" series pump as there lower profile and in the same position. They look like they have the same bolting position strangely the sump seems to be the same too. Anyone ever looked to see if these things are compatible?

    After a closer look a "Y" pump wont work so easy as when mounted the oiler outlet faces the wrong way which isn't so bad as it'd be easy to fix by drilling it... the pickup would be backwards which wouldn't be so easy. Really thought someone might have some ideas on this one maybe its a little tricky for you guys...
