Checked the plugs for fouling?
Hello,
I noticed something odd tonight whilst driving that is totally new.
Basically the car has a funny stutter while being put under full load.
Now it seems to get this stutter only from 3rd gear onwards. I felt it a few times in 2nd but it's worse in 3,4,5 gear. Now if I gently rev up through 3,4 gear it wont stutter but if I jam the throttle on it gets a stutter and can be a gentle flat stutter to a full on miss.
However the twist comes from this not happening all the time I'd say 8/10 times it will do it but there's the odd few times it won't.
I've got a 4agze with wolf3d with new Hyundai waste spark coils with new custom leads. The car has been running with that setup for about 4-5 months and never done this.
I can only assume it's sensor has gone bad or on the way out, maybe fuel? I'm a bit lost so any ideas? I hope I have vest described the issue. but feels like sometimes it will hesitate and others its fine
Cheers guys

Checked the plugs for fouling?
Not yet terra thought I'd through it out there and check today in the daylight.
However last night I did Google search and a chap in the UK on the mps forums with Mazda 6 had exact same problems and turned out was plugs.
If that's the case I can assume then I should prob start thinking about a decent ecu tune cause its got a wolf3d.
Also just for my own knowledge I was under the impression fouled plugs can sometimes be cleared with a good hard rev.
However would it be the case that my map could b to rich at that point and possibly over time it's just building up carbon?
Cheers
I had something very similar in my aw11 it ended up being my injector failing. check that too.
Check your grounds. I had an earth leak in mine a couple of years ago and it was displaying similar symptoms.
Go over the basics first though...
It shouldn't be earth leak I just hooked up a new.earth strap nice big thick one.
I have a feeling it's the plugs or maybe the injectors. Over last few days it hasn't been happening. did it maybe once but otherwise not at all.
The tune that was done on the wolf imo was pretty bad and I won't go back to those guys again. However there is another joint who know there way around a gze so hopefully they know how to tune up the wolf
K update,
Finally had a chance to get into the motor today. Pulled the Plugs and had a look. Seems the joint I went to decided to throw 2 older bcpr6es with 2 ones which starts to make me question there integreaty as mechanics.
However looking at the condition of the plugs the tips where clear, a little residual carbon build up on the base of the thread. But with a whip down looked good and yet after a drive still doing it.
Made sure the leads are nicely secured.
Definitely getting new plugs tomorrow.
So with more testing, if I'm doing 60 and Chuck it in 5th and give the motor max load you can guarantee it will stutter. Sometimes does it in 2nd now and when it does it starts blowing black fuel smoke like wasted fuel out the back. Just seems to happen mostly when there is load on t he motor. If I build revs without much throttle the issue really won't happen.
Cheers guys
well being a 4age it wont normally like doing 60 and being in 5th under full throttle, my motor runs really well and doesn't like that.
It was only to test it. I don't drive like that either
Anyway problem solved. Replaced the plugs gapped to .8mm and worked out one lead wasn't secured properly.
Cheers for all the help guys
