Default Finally the paint codes for KE10 KE15 etc

ok so i stripped my car down in 2004 and ever since then I've been scouring the internet trying to find the original KE1x paint codes so I can respray my car in an original colour.

Anyways, I got no where UNTIL TODAY. Earlier this week out of boredom I thought i'd try ringing the number for the Toyota museum in Japan and funnily enough, a perky little Japanese women answered the phone (actually sounded kinda hot). She couldnt speak english for shit BUT she did know what the word EMAIL meant so she went on to spell the museums out. I used google translator to convert my crap to Jap and after 2-3 emails today I finally got sent a PDF of the original paint codes so here you go.

Someone put this in storage, I got pretty over looking for this for 8 years

I noticed all the red Ke15s on the list are listed as helios red.

I had a batch of helios red mixed to paint my Ke15 a couple of years ago based on an old list of paint codes which were floating around for ke10s

The helios red turned out very different from the colour that was on my car. It was much darker and almost a marone colour. The red i needed was a brighter, almost pinkish red.

Upon further research the paint that was already on my car was much closer to Apollo red so its possible the ADM KE15s had different colour options (assuming it was the original red on my car).

There is also an Eos red but my crash supplies guy said debeers/valspar don't have the formula or listing for this colour. The Helios red is supposed to be more of a bright red slightly orange (similiar to the jap Toyota museum ke15?), and the apollo red is more of a peachy/pink pastel red.

Has anyone got photos of their ke10 in the pinkish Apollo red? I'm thinking of going this colour as it looks more original/classic

    Sorry i screwed up.

I mixed up Helios red with Apollo red. Teach me to rely on an old memory alone.

So yes the Helios red is the bright one making my first post a little pointless.

For what its worth, my paint supplier didnt have Helios Red on their system so (for my second batch of paint) i brought in my glovebox lid and had my paint colour matched from that. The closest colour the machine gave them was "Toyota Super Red" which they then modified a little for me to get just right (because i'm fussy).
