    Default HELP!!! ALL THE 2JZ-A70 and JZA70 PROS -- NEED HELP!!

    I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!

    Here is tha Background info-
    In my supra 1989 Aerotop manual, Before it was a 7M-GTE, then converted it to 1JZ-GTE and now I have put a 2JZ-GTE using 1JZ-GTE loom and ecu with a Emanage Ultimate piggy back which has been done many times. I figured this would save me time as both ways I have to Trouble shoot it as no conversion is perfect. So I rather plug and play and got it to work.

    Since then I have installed everything and everything seems Alrite, but the Fact that the ecu seem to be in LIMP mode and cuts power soon as it hits boost, but with out boost could get the car up to 100km/p. The car seems to cut throttle and on return after few seconds.

    I gave my Car to a "KNOWN" Tuning workshop in the S.E. to see if the Fuel/Air Maps could fix the problem and if anything I could have got wrong to fix it, but He is not able to find the Faults and Honestly IMO his too busy to be bothered.

    Someone Help me trouble shoot this issue, Options Im Faced with.

    1) Could the ECU be faulty that needs be replaced?

    2) Find my self a 2JZ-GTE Loom and wire that into the car (was trying to avoid this )

    3) I have a 2JZ-GTE ECU and Loom but its cut at the firewall on the ECU side, If I could just use the PIN OUTs from the 1JZ-GTE side and wire it to the 2JZ ECU PLUGS - If someone can confirm with me this is probably the best and easier way out of this issue.

    4) Buy a Stand Alone ECU and Wire it in. Which is not a bad option but very expensive after installing it and setup/tuning it.

    Note: Have tried to get a Fault code out of the ECU but cant seem to get it to work. I have 2 - Pressure sensors 1jz,2jz, tested both no difference. TPS, have 2JZ and 1JZ- changed the wires around like suggested on the forums, but still not 100% sure about it.

    Any other Suggestions or any tricks to over come this?

    What does your boost guage tell you?

    What 1jz harness and ecu are you using, ie: soarer/jzx90/jza70. Auto or manual ecu/harness.
    1990 SW20 MR2 turbo Gen III 3S-GTE conversion, 3" exhaust = 264.9rwhp
    1985 JZA61 2JZ-GTE + TO4Z = 442.1rwhp @ 18psi

    The Car hits just under 8psi and then backs of, starts back firing or popping, almost sounds like a rev limiter but then cuts power.

    The car started its life as a MA70, then installed a JZA70 engine bay loom and wired in the plugs under the dash. Now using the same loom , but changed 2-4 plugs around from the harness to suit the 2JZ. The ECU is out of JZA70. but Auto ECU. but the setup worked fine in the 1jz-gte until the bottom end went.

    Random thought, but could be that your TPS is whack.
    Unplug it and go for a drive.

    actually have you got the 2jz turbos running in parallel? as i would assume if in sequential it will have all sorts of failure at the changeover point due to ecu being from a non sequential 1j?
