Organising you blokes is like herding cats... lots of them....
So as we stand today I have am modifying the entries to appear like this:

Now the bad news. Entry fees were $1500 for each team last year, so I suspect they might be $1600 this year. To guarantee our place we need to hand over the entry fee when we put in our entry.
Based on last year's entry fee (ie it could actually be more in 2012), here is how much you guys actually will need to stump up for entry in total, based on current team numbers
Team TCCAV - $300 each
Team Corolla - $300 each
Grumpy Automotive Racing - $375 each
I know a few of you were scratching to get the $200 deposit in, so time to start working out which of your children or toys you have to sell to cover the extra entry fee you are going to need to come up with shortly!

i have a problem with full whack 4 1/2 months out from the event and the entry date hasn't even been announced , maybe we need to talk to the orgernisers about a deposit per team up until 2 months before the meeting .it's alright for those who only do 1 or two events a year or got heaps of dosh , but some of us are doing a heap of events a year and have to plan our pay outs not have them all at once
Note it wasn't a "you must do this now" statement, it was a "you should be ready for this"
Last time I carried the entry fee on my credit car for Team Rising Sun. While I had to submit the details with the entry well ahead, they didn't actually take it off until well after the event.. and with no communication as to when it was going to come off, it was always a bit of a worry about when it would hit. Hence this year I have distanced myself from the financials.

there is only your money in there
the problem is if they try to take payment early there will be insufficient funds
]last year we had to provide detawils for a deposit
this year they are stating full payment with initial registration
