Ok, I'm in town 6th - 15th of Feb, there are alot of guys I want to catch up with and say hi too, and share a beer and a story or two - so I'm proposing a night of fun, frivolity and aclohol fuelled tall stories and lots of leering for Friday night 10/2/06. You guys will have to suggest the venue - it's been a while since I was last in Melbourne, but the more the merrier. Those of you that simply want to come out for a quick beer and maybe a game of pool or something to eat, are welcome as much as the guys who reckon they can go all night. Who's in?

In terms of pubs Clint, there is the classic inner city pub, opposite the famous Flinders Street Station, The Young and Jackson.

Or, there is some of my favourites, for a bloody good beer and also a very fine feed if your down, The Empress Hotel, The Standard, or any pub for that matter on Brunswick street or in Carlton/Fitzroy.

I would be up for this. However at the moment I probably wont be able to make it til a little after midnight.

That wont stop me from suggesting a venue: Commercial Club on Nicholson st (a block or two south of Alexandra). It's nice, quiet enough to have a yarn, and shouldn't be too packed. Plus we can just walk round the corner to Brunswick st once it closes.

So I missed my 5:30 flight from Perth. When's the next one? That's right, 11:30pm, lands in Melbourne at 6am. Great nights sleep I had.
