I'm going to have to say no to this one unfortunately.

Not really fair to leave Cici solo with Melody until she is settling down for the entire night.
Also haven't been getting as much done on the 2ZZ as I would have like to by now, there's not much left now but I've just had no time to get all the small things done.

Only big things left are drive shafts and exhaust and the exhaust, I have a temporary stand by one I can use for a while until I get time to get the final version built.

List updated; car progress update - not significant... shifter mods progressed but not complete, turns out i'm one of the people that end up with one cable too short. Attempting further shifter clearancing to make up the extra travel with just an offset shifter neutral position but it's not there yet and it's getting close to the limit. Otherwise i try and find a cable that works or modify the shifter bracket to move the cable closer to the shifter (which is probably a longer term mod anyway to bring the lever back towards me a bit more).

Issue is only reverse anyway... i can roll it backwards down Damo's driveway, i can roll it backwards off the trailer... i should be right for PI.

Rest of the car is mostly back together, mostly. No loom connected, minor issue with a stud that bolts the driveshaft bearing to the block, then all fluids etc. Oh and still need tyres, pads, alignment. New springs not happening; hopefully won't destroy new tyres but probably will after 2 days at PI then WP.

Edit: Tim, plenty of room - send it through. Which reminds me, i need to speak to them about if the bunkhouse renos are finished!

Brooks rd meet up - where is this and at what time?

Re Brooks Rd - i've been searching for about 20mins through old threads and even my photobucket and can't find the images, so if anybody else has them can they please post them and the description i usually post - basically Brooks Rd is an exit off the Hume just after the M5/M7 junction. There's a 4 lane section and it's right after that. You exit left, turn right at the round about, then about what, a couple of k's down that road there's a servo on the left, just before a roundabout that puts you back onto the Hume Hwy. Brooks Rd Ingleburn is the exit you take off the hume - and the servo is further down the road than you first think.

So we usually organise a time that suits close to the day (or on the day) around 7-8pm. And then (before anybody else jumps in and says it) i usually turn up about 20-30 mins later. I do that to give everybody a chance to get there and make sure we don't leave anyone behind...

Boom! Is there nothing Google can't do??
