ps the gurgles are bad, burp em out before it DOES munch a headgasket. good maintenance is the key to keeping it at bay.

Same buckets, springs and cams minus two cylinders.

The 7m head is apart from ports and valves and cam lobes a longer version of the 4a head.

yes they look very similar side by side

clearance all the valves and it shuts up, bit of a job with 24 of them!
ive put up a thread somewhere with an excel spreadsheet that does all the maths for you making it 10x easier

    Had a feeling
Lots of people think there is something wrong but that's how they all sound from experience.

Tried jacking the car up and running it for 10mins today at work after I dropped the oil, no dice. Might have to try the bottle trick.

I hope you refilled the oil before you did that ^^^

Here is what I did with mine, worked a tread. Next time I'm going to use an old radiator cap and glue the bottle to that so it seals properly.

Tried that for 15mins, got some bubbles out but it still gurgles away

Might just get a inline tap, stick it in that bit of hose, run some clear tubing vertical and try that. I'm assuming if I cant get rid of it the bubbles of air are being generated internally lol
