what wasn't awesome was the potholes on the entry road (Deep Rock Rd).
aside from the gates being shut (and i wasn't about to get out and check if they were locked or not) the parking along the road has some lovely sized potholes.
i couldn't do a three point turn near the gates, so practiced some night reverse head-out-the-window skills to find an area big enough with no potholes to do a three point turn. (and i did make it in three, not the normal 5 or 7 )

Planning is coming along nicely for Classic Japan, hope everyone is out with the polish getting their cars ready.

It looks like we are going to have a massive turn out of cars which is great.

Please bear in mind that we only have space for 120 cars on show on the grass, so we really are looking for top quality cars for this event.

One other thing to note is that once the cars are in on the grass at 9am, there is to be no movement of them until 1pm. That is a condition of our use of the ground. So if you want to be in, you are in for the full 4 hours.

In other news, we now have support from Shannons for the event, so thanks to them, and Chroma Canvas will be there taking photos on the day and are offering a special prize on the day.

well i wont have my p's by the 20th, i'll have them on the 22nd thought (finally booked in), how good do the cars have to be condition wise, i dont wanna ruin it with my car

Ctrain bring along your celica despite having only 120 spaces on the grass we still have approx 170 spots in the carpark next to it and there are still even more carkparks a little further down the road. The mention about only having 120 spots on the grass is to let people know that all cars won't make it on the grass so to please appreciate that fact if your car isn't selected.

Gave the Corona a massive detail yesterday, clay bar, paint cleaner and wax. Looks brand new. Quick wipe of the inside and windows and its ready for the weekend... Unless i get bored during the week and start painting brakes and stuff.....
