*bump* for the mighty twinscrew supercharger
And AE101 Levin?
*bump* for the mighty twinscrew supercharger
holy shit i only just found this
30psi is this thing giving you any ideas for twincharging? i can imagine with that monster gt30 that you would have some lag?
imagine it with no lag and turbo spolling in a vacuum, INSTANT BOOST!
Nah. I have to say not...
While in theory its a great idea, the complexity of the whole system just isnt worth it in my mind.....
Plus superchargers rob you of power ( Thats me being a critic The old "They take power to make power") So in the end id gain some response but loose some up top......
If ya havent already guessed i like to screw every last hp out of my 4a and a SC could cost me 10-15 hp or even more.

Here is the latest dyno plot that will closely resemble stock boost and power output from the Twinscrew kit. At this power level the blower is spinning very slow and is not yet in its efficiency range which is about 15psi. This dyno is using the stock gze ecu, afm, and intercooler. Only mods are Twinscrew, cone filter and exhaust.

Going to fit this A2W unit to the twinscrew and ditch the stock intercooler. Just going from 2 inch to 2.5 inch with the intercooler upgrade should produce significant gains. Please note the above dyno is a bit under 10 psi.

I would love to know how this would go with a 36mm restrictor fitted in some way for IPRA racing............. Perhaps the retrictor being within 50mm of the screws would be more efficient then being that close to a turbo's compressor wheel as the scews have a much larger surface area as compared to a turbo wheel????
would love to know how much this kit will be sold for, and when... it was meant to be available last year, lol.

The A2W intercooler is an option for the kit, available once testing is done. Interesting enough the fuel at 170whp started to run towards the lean area at the very top end at 12:5. Could be an inadequate fuel filter, or the afm gze's run out of fuel sooner then that of the map based gze.
Going to get a wide band on this car along with 440's to run more boost once the A2W is fitted. This blower is eager to run more boost.

Noticed I quoted the wrong price for the kit. Kit price is 3550 with stock intercooler piping for the Aw11 and 3400 without piping.
I have since confirmed fitment for the Ae86 and Ae92/101. Ae86 has an inlet in the works as there is not much room for a filter at the end of the throttle body with the stock blower inlet manifold. Will soon post pics of completed Cnc billet components.
Thanks

Thinking I might go down this track in a while. want to burn up a few sc14's first, I've got 143rwkw now on 9psi, always wanted 200kw still being SC.

200kw is easily attainable with this kit as we made 188kw with the smaller blower and a mild tune with the link. Depending on how much power you would like to make, this kit is adaptable for a blower capable of 300+kw!Originally Posted by Sprinterboy

Just a query, how are you planning to outlet/inlet the AE92 kit? I have a very similar W2A setup as your MR2 there - it sits over my gearbox - so if the inlet/outlet is vaguely where the stock ones are... that'd be sweet haha..Originally Posted by RonRob
Will wait for pics! I only want 150fwkw on low boost!

Ronrob, are there pics available for this kit fitted to a Corolla? Just want to start thinking of pipework....
The fit in the Ae92 is exactly how it will fit in the Aw11 including the inlet manifold and throttle body. I can make the outlet face the opposite direction if neccessary.
Thanks
