    Yeah was just about to say I've got some more of the 8 but they are showing your plate so I didn't want to put them up here.

    I'll email you in a sec.

    Cheers

    259.X kph for me with a missed 2nd-3rd shift (hot clutch wouldn't release?) and stupid amounts of wheelspin thru 1st and 2nd....still some in 3rd too. To give some idea of runs. My 1st run on 14psi was nice and clean at only 244kph and a 22.5 ET. My 2nd run on 17psi was slower @ 23.5 seconds but with a 15kph higher trap speed? If the clutch had held out long enough to sort my shift points and when to hit the 17psi button i'm guessing a low 270 was on the cards.

    The quick 2J's with 450ish rwkw were up around 270kph. The standout was the 2J IS which has around 400rwkw but hooked up really well and stomped out 260 something kph.

    i wish i had done this before the event...i had meant to but just slipped my mind in the rush.

    Bowling's Optimum Shift Calculator
    Input Parameters Are the Following:
    Transmission Ratio One = 2.87 to 1
    Transmission Ratio Two = 1.89 to 1
    Transmission Ratio Three = 1.28 to 1
    Transmission Ratio Four = 1.00 to 1
    Horsepower = 260 at 2500 RPM
    Horsepower = 560 at 3500 RPM
    Horsepower = 660 at 5500 RPM
    Horsepower = 600 at 6500 RPM
    Computation Results:
    Using the Criterion for Maintaining the Same Horsepower Before and After Shift:
    Finding Best Shift Placement Points For Ratio 2.87 to 1.89:

    Found optimum shift RPM at 6017, which achieves 630 horsepower and lowers the RPM To 3962 after shift
    Finding Best Shift Placement Points For Ratio 1.89 to 1.28:

    Found optimum shift RPM at 5925, which achieves 636 horsepower and lowers the RPM To 4012 after shift
    Finding Best Shift Placement Points For Ratio 1.28 to 1.00:

    Found optimum shift RPM at 5504, which achieves 660 horsepower and lowers the RPM To 4300 after shift

    Maximumizing the Area Under the Horsepower Curve:
    Finding Best Shift Placement Points For Ratio 2.87 to 1.89:

    Found optimum shift RPM at 6499, which achieves maximum area under horsepower curve, and lowers the RPM to 4280 after shift
    Finding Best Shift Placement Points For Ratio 1.89 to 1.28:

    Found optimum shift RPM at 6497, which achieves maximum area under horsepower curve, and lowers the RPM to 4400 after shift
    Finding Best Shift Placement Points For Ratio 1.28 to 1.00:

    Found optimum shift RPM at 6496, which achieves maximum area under horsepower curve, and lowers the RPM to 5075 after shift

    That's pretty rough inputs for power but validates the shift discussion on the day. 1st run i shifted way to high at 7000+rpm. Got a bit excited by it all Next run was ore disciplined at 6800rpm and i was going to try 6500 the 3rd run but the clutch cried enough. Looking at those calcs the 6500 would have been the go, dropping right into the power band instead of on the falling end of the curve, doh. Not to mention i would have been into the higher gears sooner to let the torque and long gearing generate the speed. lesson learnt for next year i guess
