CCG checks out the 24th Annual Swap Meet - 30th of October 2011.

Folks the Canberra Swap meet is on again in October and I for one have never been.

So I figured this would be a great chance to get together scope out the swap meet and then go for a drive and have a brew in the afternoon.

Date:30th of October 2011
Start time: 8:30am
Location:Exhibition Park (EPIC), Northbourne Ave. Canberra
(in buildings F & M at northern entrance, behind Shell servo).

WHAT's it all about ?
Parts and accessories for old & new cars, motorbikes & engines, automobilia, books, tools, models, antiques & collectables, toys and crafts etc.

ADMISSION
Adults $3, children U12 free.

PARKING
Ample free parking available.

FOOD
Hot food and refreshments available all day on site.


Once we have worn out our feet (and Wallets) at the Swap Meet by 11am I propose a quick (30min) jaunt up the highway to the Collector pub (www.facebook.com/thebushrangerhotelnsw) for a brew and wild stories.

Spring clean the garage and set up a stall, be early for the bargains or just bring along the family for a day out.

Club and trade displays welcome.


SITES
150 indoor sites 3M x 3M (many with power).
$17 per site (includes entry for 1) - bookings essential.
200+ outdoor sites 5M x 5M, $12 per site (entry for 1) - no bookings.
Set up from 12 noon to 8.00pm Saturday 29 October 2011,
or 6.00am Sunday 30 October
(Fitzroy Pavilion not available for set-up till 4pm.)
