What classes do you want to compete in? The S13 setup may rule you out of IPRA.
I'm trying to decide what to do with the rear end of Badger...
Requirements are:
Good tunability
Ease/availability of different spring rates
Speed of changing springs (to swap between drift/grip setup)
Price (ima student afterall)
The two options I can see are:
KYB AGX shocks
Custom wound springs ($280 or so FFS)
Or...EF (?) falcon springs
Or
S13 rear coilover assembly.
This requires cutting and modifying the floorpan and bracing the lower mount on the swingarm. Not a terrifying job, but a bit of a PITA. (this will *not* be registered!)
There are lots of advantages to the coilover assembly, but it is a bit rough in some ways.
Can anyone tell me the exact spring that is usually used? EF rear comes to mind, but I'm not sure if that's right...if I know what it is I can go and research spring rates

I think it would, Takai mentioned that modifying the shock towers would rule it out...
It's mostly for autokhana, speed event series etc, stuff that doesn't follow heavy guidelines, as long as the car passes scrutineering...
