Anyone ever heard of or know of Plasti Dip??

I just found out the another option to getting my rims powder coated and that is Plasti Dip, its made in Aus and comes in a spray can, and if you dont like the colour you can just peel of the Plasti Dip and go back to the original colour, Has anyone ever heard of this or had any experience with this product?

yeah thats the stuff, its a much better option then powder coating rims, that mean i have to take apart my 3 piece rims, get them dipped in acid to remove the red PC then get them PC then take the rims to a rim specialist to get them bolted back up and sealed and that all together is going to cost well over $400 bucks. The one thing the pisses me off is that the company that make plastidip is australian yet i cant find any where else to buy the stuff except from the manufacturer and the want $30 bucks a can plus $20 bucks shipping, yet in the USA they sell them for 6 bucks a can from any hardware store

Our supplier is old mate of Ebay who charges the world.
Another sales man at work says buy it of Ebay US in quantity is heaps cheaper.

yeah it can be used as liquid electrilcal tape, it does come in aresol cans used for rims, i have thought already sprayed my rims as im to lazy to go to my local TJM qhich is like 10 km away from my house, so i have primered and sprayed them silver and it looks wicked, just two more to go.

dude its not worth it now, the +itive of getting this stuff is that you can peel it off if you dont like, but its not worth it because of how fukcing expensive the shit it,if ae3gte is right and the manufacture is selling to to them there is a very good chance that it ill cost you around 30-50 bucks a can, and everyone reckons at least one can per rim as the stuff is super thick and there isnt much in a can, I sanded, primered, and spray painted my rims silver today and I coudnt be happier, and it cost me under 20 bucks, just more elbow grease involved, but if you wanna get the plastidip stuff go get it

yeah Ive done that, I previously sanded primed and painted my rims with a satin black, but in the sun it goes shit after a while and they look terrible now. so looking to redo it, id get them powdercoated, but id have to get them sandblasted first, so its annoying.

I read you can use 2 cans for 4 wheels. thats not too bad...
