    Default E85 and RBT....technical issue ;)

Ran at the local hillclimb today. Drove the car there, as it's close, in a less than optimal state for legality and i was trying to keep a low profile. So, of course i run into an RBT/rego check on the way home

I reckon they figured it was a rally car and not worth bothering with so the guy was very pleasant...even when i blew over the 1st attempt. 4 inch side system running rich on E85 was enough it appears? He put the tube in for the 2nd attempt and blew 0.0..."on your way sir, have a nice arvo". Fark, heart was going harder than laps at the hillclimb

Its nice to occasionally get a copper with a laid back approach.
We only ever took the HQ out about 4 times (on public roads) in turbocharged guise but when we did it still even had the parachute on behind. Somehow we always passed a police car or two and I can guarantee the old ticker was going nuts! Can only assume they didn't have enough tickets left or it was close to knock off time...

Haha!! E85 side pipes blowing over for you eh? Might suggest next time to kill the ignition prior to blowing - when el fuzzo ask why, just let them know that the car blew over last time... if they have a sense of humour, that should get them laughing.

Good to see they were more interested in stopping people drink driving than they were raising revenue. Obviously racing a hillclimb is a great outlet which will keep a few people from getting the urge to drive like a mong on the street, and they probably recognised that.
