Who really needs a 'dyno day' anyway? (my opinion)

Maybe the time spent organising this event could be better spent organising something else cool to do for a Club event. And not supporting useless gronks.....
If everyone was going to pay $50 for this anyway, what else could be done with that amount of dosh?

Drive - BBQ - drive is the obvious one but historically not very successful for some reason? Not many hot girlfriends to perv on perhaps?

A slim possibility is to try and haggle a motorkhana with a CAMS affliated club? Limited to us (and them i guess) as a novice event. Pick the easier courses so everyone has fun?

All chip in fifty bucks, buy an un-regoed KE70 or similar, weld diff, fit second hand rally tyres, buy plenty of fuel, and trailer it to the greyhound track motorkhana and share it around the club like a town-bike for some fun on a Sunday

What would Ultimate Tunes charge fior the dyno day Mitch? The extra buys the CCG good karma and we'll get cars running there with more that 40rwkw

You'd still be suss on how your brake lines were fucked after the last dyno day wouldn't you Phil? and how about the boosted cars that were redlined with 14:1 AFRs?????

Not sure if the MR2 club is still operating in the ACT.

Supra Club is not really operating anymore.

Corolla club has the occasional cruise.

So from a Toyota point of view I think were the only ones having dyno days.

I wasn't having a shot mate, but if you're gonna dyno day it's really about the bigger hp cars (for their class) and the hope that something will really surprise!! eg Roscos poopra

Can't say i understand the the desire for the wooden spoon but can see the owner interest in what their pride and joy will do......just not that interesting for the rest of us

I like Justen's idea of the motorkhana. Really good fun you can have with your cars, as well as learning things about your car that you didn't know it could (or couldn't) do before..

But, it might be hard to make this happen.......

You overlooked TRoD. It's been punishing Canberras roads since 1988 and punishing mums across town for almost as long.

Might be time for us to re-open the membership books for Team Rolla or Die hey Shano, maybe a limited release of exclusive personally engraved membership rings (for your hand, not the anoos type, leave that to the Celica boys ) for the first ten responses and for the next 15 minutes, all the Canberra soccer-mums you can handle.

Also I think we have Go Karts on the menu for January Nath.

Matt has been bugging us to organise an event out at U-Brew it but we didn't think there would be enough interest.

How many people would be keen on a U-Brew it day ?
