    Default ta22 project - engine troubles

    Hey all
    so i was originally planning on replacing the engine in my ta22 with a 3tgte, as it's my first engine swap and it is apparently the easiest. Unfortunately, i can't find an entire goddamn engine anywhere, so i'm trying to figure out whether i should stick to the hard to find, easy to install 3tgte, or bite the bullet and get myself a 3sge/gte or 4age/gze and try to make it work...

    I was just wondering if anyone has any advice, or ideas for where to look for this engine?

    theres a guy wrecking a built 3tgte on gumtree SA right now.

    gze conversion is lengthy and costly i think mine cost 6k above
