5me head and 5mge head

Hey guys, am curious to see if a head from a 5mge will bolt up to my 5me blocks?? And what are the other major differences between them.

it should bolt up, with all the correct supporting mods.. after all it is an M series engine and head...

Just remember that none of the intake/exhaust manifold stuff will fit, dizzy won't fit, etc, so you'll need everything from the 5MGE except the block.
Also the 5ME runs a timing chain, where as the 5MGE runs a timing belt, so you'll need the right sprocket, and all the timing covers.

All this adds up to - find a complete 5MGE...

I can't put a jz in it as much as I would like to. It's my friends car and she's on her ps. However I can put any motor in it that the ma61 came out with as a factory option. There's a 1072hp 2jz in my supra which may find its way in there later down the track.

Can any one confirm whether the ma61 came out with a 7mge?? As I have tried looking for it but can't find anything.

5me, 5mge not a whole lot of choice, the 7M is not to far of a straight swap though..
