this may/will cause problems - get underneath and look at orientation of the unis at either end of the front shaft.one thing I didnt check was the phasing of the drive shaft would this cause the issue???
Hello Guys
Just installed a 6 puck clutch kit and as espected got some tiny shudder when engagign clutch all good but ive got a wierd issue......going for test drive yesterday 1kms from home there was this massive thud bang bang noise so I slow down go home checked and it seemed like centre bearing was quite worn so I replaced it with a 2nd hand one went for a drive reached about 3kms then bang at 80kms this massive bang bang noise got worse when slowing down as I was on a hill(small) i turned off the car checked it neutral and pressed in the clutch pedel noise was still apparent...clutch shifts fine motor is fine..one thing I didnt check was the phasing of the drive shaft would this cause the issue??? also there is a chance the 2nd hand bearing was dogey which I will replace with a single peice prop shaft
Currently running the stock 1JZ drive shaft witht the rear bonded shaft...sorry for the long typing and lack of grammer lol PISSED OF WITH THIS CRAPPY CAR![]()

Check the uni's are not tight, remove the shaft & turn each uni through its range they should move freely with no slop but definately no binding or tightness in any spot, phasing causes issues but it will feel worse as the speed increases & you wont get a sudden bang
to easy found the problem and its crazy!! the rear exhaust mount had been banging against the diff side shaft..remove exhaust few taps from the love hammer and all is ok now!! also setup the drive shaft as per online TSRM all is ok now WOOT!
