I helped a mate build one of those Ferrino things for a local w'shop way back in the mid 80's....i thought it was as ugly as fuck then, guess i was right

A few nice cars there, great looking weather for it.

No probs, is urs the one with the 1JZ in it? couldn't find the turbo on it, is it a 1JZ-GE ?

Yeah the 1jz-gte corona is it. Overall there were heaps more cars there than last time I went and a decent amount of Toyotas also... that ra28 was amazing.

do you mean the red/orange one? (i'm colour blind) .. was a liftback and had a sticker on it saying Genuine Toyota service and parts?

from memory it used to have a 18RG in it back in 1999/2000 if it's the same one i used to see at the QLD Celica club meet ups.

How goes the rona with the 1J? i bet the power to weight would smoke the tyres pretty easy. GT-T corona on here makes the fibreglass front lower lip from the SR sports model.

Yeah that orange ra28, which had a 18rgte in it I beleive. It was amazingly presented.

Corona goes good with the 1jz in it, only simple mods but power to weight is great. With the 5 speed and torque it makes for a awesome drive.

Yeah I have heard about someone making the SR parts. I was never too keen on the SR front lip..
