i am after a diagram of 3sge gen2 sw20 pin outs and any other wiring diagrams would be nice just after a bit more info befor a last ditch effort to carbies

Here are a couple of EWDs, I am about 90% sure they are for an SW.

Inside the ECM, the Pattern Select Switch, I believe one is P (Power mode) and the other is M (Manual mode). The "M" kinda looks like an "N" in the scan.

I would really try to get that motor running with the EFI. It can be quite nice if set up right.

Not sure if this helps .. The left side is for early model 89-91 and the right side is for 91-93

hmmmm thanks fellas been a big help rep 4 u's but i still a bit lost i might have to make a trip down to toyota and try and suss out a manual
