Ok so i have dont a fair amount of reasearch, what i seem to have found so far is that the power fc's run a 1j fine so long as they are manual and out of a soarer. Can anyone say they are using a power fc to run a 1j from a jzx81, plugged straight in and had no problems?
Also does a power fc plug straight into any loom, ie does it matter if the car was originally automatic?

Most tuners use the FC Datalogit to tune the power fc via a laptop.
If your tuner has the same unit as in the link below then he can tune it.

try to avoid tuning with the hand controller at all costs.

Lost a few check lights they are doing funny things, I'm guessing it's an ecu issue being that the ecu is actually for a jza70?
Car isn't Charging no batt light on dash but comes on ok when you earth the light pin (along with cat temp and brake light warning lol). The alternator also tested fine
the charge light is wired threw the body loom not the engine loom, so ecu change shouldn't effect it?
when you say the alternator tested fine you mean bench test or its is actually charging just no light comes on?

all error codes, or should I say engine sensor activity can be viewed through the hand controller. injector duty cycle warning and engine knock CEL notifications are still relayed through the original check engine light. They just flash in different frequencies.

Ok this one has me stumped
I've lost ignition at the diag plug pin, at the alternator ign pin, but car starts n runs so getting it everywhere else
All fuses check ok,
Sounds like There is a wiring some where that not connected properly/wrong.
