I have just been through a rebuild, I got my gasket kit from a place in melbourne called toyota twin cam engines but dont know if he is still open. There is a place in sydney that does rally cars search these forums and you will find them. My first engine was built by wilkins performance in seven hills and was very happy with there work.

.... what about Gas Miser and ACL?? They do VRS and full gasket kits for the 18R-GEU?

As for the man to build your engine.... well it depends how good an engine build you want.
... the man you really want is too busy tho, he has to build my engine and make my manifold first dammit!!

I had a look in the ACL catalogue and can only find listings for
    2TGEU
    2TC
    3T
    3TC

unfortunately nothing for 3TG or 3TGTE
does anyone know what the part number is for the kit you get from Stuart Wilkins?

actually does anyone have a chassis code of a toyota with a 3tgte in it?
might be able to ask toyota if they have anything (cough splutter)

found this thread on old forums
    http://forums.toymods.org.au/index.p...85f7b713bbeaf4

It also mentions Sean Maloney engines 03 9428 5277 for useful 3t info and gasket kits.

were they delivered to australia or are they imports?
my experience with toyota is they don't like me if i have a question about an import unless i give them a chassis code.

They were import only to Oz but there are quite a few floating around NZ as imports as our laws are a lot more relaxed with imports. I might be able to find the chassis code off a TA63, not sure if I kept it or not when I cut the car up.

If your gunna try a Toyota dealership for parts the Castle Hill one is pretty good. Theres a guy there who is the head of parts department and he specialises in getting import stuff. He'd be the man to see if going to a Toyota dealership.
