    Default how to tighten up w58 gearbox

    hey all i was just wondering if there is a bush or something you can replace that is cheap option to give you a tighter feeling gear shift as mine feels really loose and has alot of play??

    You should be able to just go to toyota and get a new one.
    Might be worth taking your shifter in too because if I remember right there are a few different bushes and when you put it on it will be a real tight fit, you have to use a bit of force. At least I had to.

    did it to my w55, makes a huge difference

    or that I worked at toyota so got toyota stuff real cheap. Can vouch for AJPS stuff being fantastic.
