4KE uses an AFM? then in theory it should feed enough fuel for the air the motor wants to ingest?
So I have a 4K-E in my daily KP Starlet, getting bored of it being a bit gutless so trying to confirm the injection setup will feed a 5K reasonably happily (maybe a 7K but that is probably a stretch). Long term I will put in a different ECU and upgrade injectors etc but just want to be certain that I can do the engine swap in a weekend and be back up and running FAST. Yes I do know there are much better systems out there but the manifold looks cool and WILL be staying.
Any input/opinions appreciated.

Yeah it's AFM and I had the same thoughts, just want to be certain so I don't end up with a car that won't go and a wife trying to kill me.

it's also a very basic system in terms of "intelligence".. and only 200cc different. plus the dizzy is still mechanical/vac advance, not ECU controled.
the injectors are only 145cc, but the mixtures under power are probably rich enough that if you wring out the 5K, it should still be ok..
edit: not sure if the ECU has seperate table for idle mixtures? the TPS is basic switch type (not variable like 7K), but the mixtures should still be ok enough?
