    Default T3 16V ITB Adaptor - Installation

I recently purchased a T3 16V ITB Adaptor. It doesn't fit against the head as 2nd / 4th holes haven't been counter-bored to clear the locating sleeves on the head.

Do holes have to be countrerbored or can you remove the locating sleeves from the head (and if so how?).

i think you can remove the collars/sleeves from the head, they are usually just push fit in. try pliers to pull them out i suppose??

How I got taught to deal with these if they're in really tight - Grab the end of the collar with a pair of vice grips. Get 2 Flat screwdrivers with insulation tape on the ends and lever it out under the edge of the multigrips, takes minimal effort if you apply the force evenly on each side of the vice grip.

the T3 adapter I had had been counterbored??? weird.

anyways you can just pull the collars out with some pliers. no big deal. i had to do it to use my TVIS deleted bigport manifold

what I don't get is why people put up with T3's bullshit instead of pushing them for answers
