    Default Bump stops

i just installed the rav4 kyb shocks into the front my mx83 Cressida and 1" lowered king springs

now i forgot to put the stock bumpstops back in

its driving fine but is it really necessary to have them . I guess without them i get more travel but if i hit a big pot hole Or carry a heavy load then what are the chances of them bottoming out?

Should i pull it apart and put them in?

If you want the shocks to last its best to fit them. They stop the shocks from bottoming out and when this happens it can damage the seals and make them leak or worst case completely fail. It may never happen but best to be on the safe side IMO.
