probably still not enough time for me, but I'll see what I can do.
Most bits have been bought now, it's just assembly/install/tune/run-in/retune to go... yeah not too much...
Well due to the bunch of whingers about how little notice they got before the May day, here's the thread for the August day already posted the day after the May one. Of course i haven't actually got around to confirming yet which Friday it's on but i'm pretty sure it's one of the two above and will confirm closer to the date. Just aim for early August and you'll be sweet.
Cost is $195 per car, still awesome value for the amount of track time you get.
We run a limited number of cars so you pay per car and can cycle as many drivers through one car as you like, it's open track all day with 12 on circuit and a one in one out basis. I currently have at least 15 spots reserved for Toymodders, and can usually grab a couple more if we fill these up quick enough.
All the usual info, thursday and friday nights at the Pelican station next to the track, bring CAMS or valid driver's licence, helmet, neck/wrist/ankle length clothing, sleeping bag, pillow and beverages if staying (accom is about $30/night depending on numbers).
No official timing means cheaper insurance (and therefore track time) and passengers are allowed for 'driver training purposes', but feel free to organise your own. This situation has been changing the last couple of days; we were restricted to people we nominated and signed on as instructors and this was repeated at the briefing yesterday however a few Holden utes were taking mates out left right and centre even after being flagged and 'spoken' to by everybody's favourite person for being 'too close to each other' on the front straight... so basically i think we're still fine with passengers but it's a little dependant on mood and general people's behaviour on the day.
Anyway, when you commit to coming, i will PM bank details to transfer to (incl for accomodation to book spots), then when i see the coin i will add you to this...

Subscribed. Should be a better day than painting doors...
If possible, I'd prefer mid to late August. Might be OS for the first 2 weeks, maybe (but aiming to have the car ready by mid June this time)
I can't fit these days in around you! This day just gone you were talking about other months being better for you; the dates are booked end of last year and won't be moving; i just can't remember which of the two weeks it is.

My only hassle will be in finding some 16" rims in the right offset (might have time to install the roll cage but this'll just add weight...). Found some off a Lancer at a wrecker, but they were that shagged that they weren't even worth the $70 (for the set) asking price.
I've only got 220mm clearance between the rear coilover spring & the outside of the guard. Makes it a little difficult to fit a 7" rim with a 205 tyre properly.
Very keen to finally get the soarer back out.
Hoping it is the 19th.
Want to lock this one in.

Definately keen, haven't taken the GT4 out for ages.
Wonder if I can get the engine in for it....
