Default oil flow issues with after market conrods

Got a set of aftermarket connecting rods for a 1jzgte. Difference between stock rods and after market 1s is there's no piston bore squirer hole in the big end like the stock rods. The after market rods have the bore squirter in the little end on both sides.

Trying to figure out how the rings and little eng gets lubricated? I found on the new cp pistons they have oil drillings from the rings to the gudgen pin. The idea is when the piston comes down on the stroke, oil on the bore is scrap up into the oil ring and forced into the gudgen pin drilling, lubricating the little end.

    Am i forgetting something?
    Cheers

nope that pretty much has it covered.... well that and the fact that you have all kinds of rotation going on so the oil is slinging about quite a bit as well

So the After market have a hole up through the centre of the rod for oil lubrication to the little end ..

What power are you chasing ? as the stock rods appear to be pretty good for some quite good numbers ..

their carillo rods. No theres no gallery from the big to the little end. Thats what i'm concern about. Can i use the cp pistons with these rods? how is the little end going to get lubricated. Not chasing power but i want the engine to rev to 10K, not for braggin rights but i want to see if its possible. Been getting right into engine building, Henricks motors sport build v8's for nascars that rev 10k the entire race (500 odd laps). My main concern is oil flow, or lack of at high rpm.

After market rods compaired to stock rods. First pic is the bore squirter on the stock compared to after market

Oil relief in the little end of the rod compared to the stock 1. Stock oil relief is on top.

No oil drilling up to the little end on the aftermarket rod.

They have piston cooling nozzles but their for cooling stock pistons. How does the bore get lubricated? The cp's have drillings out to the oild ring for oil return from the bore. I read hendrick drill the rods them selfs and use a carbon rod to port the the oil gallery for better oil flow

Notice the notch in the 20V blacktop pic, it sort of redirects/concentrates the usual 360 degrees of side clearance spray and will put much more oil topside then that little missing hole ever would.

Thats what my rods are missing, Its a turbo 1jzgte engine, using the 2.5lt for the smaller stroke, less rotating mass, more revs. Going to applied automotive on monday to get the crank metal sprayed and balance. I'll get them to have a look, in my dads old rover v8 it had a small gap in the cap to the rod for a oil squirter.

Mate your rods will have that much side clearance on the journal there would be oil slinging out everywhere and right up your bore. It should be of ZERO concern that the good rods have no oiler. Also, your forgies require more heat to work properly so the cooling effect is not required as much. Besides the fact the piston speeds on a 1jz doing 10k rpm is going to be far less then a 355 CID nascar engine doing the same.

Plus the fact the 1jzgte has factory fitted bore oil squirters aswell.
