Thanks any usefull ke10 related info is good.
just thought you needed to go to ke20 steering to go with ke20 struts for proper steering angles ?
fwiw, KE10 and KE20 pitman arm have same spline, but KE20 pitman arm is longer..
so can use KE20 column in KE10 for a crush tube column, with the KE10 pitman arm.....
may not help you much tho![]()

yeah, sorry, still need the KE20 pitman AND idler arms for the KE20 steering arms, as they are all longer by about 10mm
should be able to get 555 KE20 pitman arms still?
or just nick a whole column from somewhere
the chassis rail crush tubes are big enough for the larger KE20 bolts, so you drill out the rails to match, and the bottom part of KE20 column bolts in. then need to make up crushable top section (copy KE20 mounting)

also found out the hard way that boge mk1 golf strut inserts do not fit in ke10 or ke20 struts, the struts taper at the bottom & the inserts don't & there is not enough material to machine the insert down to fit without going too thin.
1 brand new set of inserts for the bin & time to start again oh joy
