An enjoyable first Toyota Fest for me.
Great to see all the old school and new toyotas out there.
Will have to get more of the SW20's out next time so I'm not the lonesome one!
Yet another fantastic Toyota fest !
was like ground hog day with the weather and lining up drying down the car with a miriad of awesome Toyatas arriving !
A massive thanks to all the members who keep the club running and everyone that helped organise the day and especially those faces that i see year after year.
I really enjoy just being surrounded by so many enthusiests, seeing different peoples ideas and the love they pour out on their Toyotas. the other thing is to see the faces (many i dont know or remember their names) but certainly remember the faces and the cars and have the opportunity to come together for a breif catch up and see whats happened in the last 12 months, unfortunately there just wasnt time to catch up with everyone
Its also great to see new faces and cars, some really crazy new stuff there, to encourage and be encouraged.
This year was special because my 6 year old son Guy came out with me and spent the whole day. He was nearly as excited as me, and as soon as we got there he was pointing out the awesome exhausts, dish and hectic wings. It was great as he helped dry and wash the car and generally have someone by my side to share the experience with.

It had what is probably the nicest engine bay I have seen on a classic Toyota. It was extremely close for best of show between the KE20 and the KE30 that won last year and was even nicer this year. I think it was basically impossible to split those two and they ended up being split by which car polled the most votes for entrants choice.
Just behind those guys there were a heap of other cars that were not as show focused that put in a great showing like the little white AE82 that father and son hauled over from Adelaide for the show and the grey JZA80 with tonnes of extremely classy and tasteful mods.
I was really impressed by all the cars this year, it took for ever to judge because there wasn't a car that didn't need to be checked out because it bought something to the table for at least one f the trophy classes. Which I guess means our list of trophies is doing its job and not excluding people. I'd still like us to do a club trophy but it might as well be called the radrollas trophy based on the showings they've made the last few years
Hey guys, my name is Jason. I own the KE20 that won Car of Show. Just wanted to say thanks for organising an awesome day. I am so thrilled to have won and to win Top interior as well is unbelievable. It has been a dream for the last 8 years to have my car finished and on show here, and yesterday my dream came true. It was a pleasure to meet so many nice people and thank you for all the compliments. Hope to see you all next year. Once again thank you.
yeah I spent ages trying to fault the engine bay in that KE20... I was unable to.
A simply stunning car.
Amazing KE20 Jason, your attention to detail on the fabrication and build quality was awesome! Well done on taking out the top trophy - well deserved.
Big thanks to Toymods for organising a great show as usual, great mix of Toyotas with so much great quality work on display across the range of cars.
That little Sport 800 was crazy, never even knew such a Toyota existed!
I enjoyed catching up with everyone and will be looking forward to next year............in the sunshine maybe
