a diff centre is a diff centre regardless of being meant for front or rear only thing that changes is ratio really,
let me know if you want to sell your LSD tho
Yeah, welded diffs are terrible to drive on the street with...I'll give it some thought, but everyone I know with a torsen is really happy with it's road manners and traction...the issues might be caused by running a front diff in a rear application?

Yeah, I'll probably sell the diff that's in it now, or keep it for skidpan daysthe difference is the rotational direction, I think that the crownwheel is on the opposite side in the front diff, so it's effectively rotating backwards from the perspective of the LSD unit itself (correct me if I'm wrong)

IIRC the discussion on celicasupra.com about the 'rwd' version is that it has different facing gears and some kind of pre-load/breakaway torque setting. The FWD when in RWD may not transfer the power right and can lead to peglegging it... of course my memory could just be shot too.

wouldnt explain why mine spins the left wheel like it is its birthday, allways the left lol.

A f series diff will take an altezza diff head trd or standard. Have done so myself this is no hear say. If your diff head doesnt have the adjustable nuts on the side of the centre sometimes you will need a spacer shim to get the right offset for the gears? But its a piece of piss otherwise really only an afternoon job.
is the inside wheel unloading?
as you know, torsens require both wheels on the ground to work.. (or at least a little resistance from the unloaded wheel)
does it not happen when going around right hand corners?
maybe there is something in your suspension causing left wheel to pull up, but not as much for right?
does it happen when you have a passenger on the left hand side of the car?![]()
