i noticed the engine its got in there isnt an 18 R-C but an 18R he said this gave it a lil more horsepower

same shit, different smell. Don't worry about it, I doubt you could tell the difference anyway.

Is it hard to convert to EFI are the parts easily available?

I'm not sure but I barely ever see them for sale.... Not sure on the difficulty but if you're buying a 18RG for EFI then it might pay to buy a 18RGE straight out (maybe out of a Corona or something?)

for a while i was naggin my mate at skool about his brothers celica its a ta22 with the folowing things

14' mags

well im gonna be gttin this bad boy on the weekend hopeully, it hasnt been started for a while but hopefully the old girl will crank over. its a fairly straight car, but it has rust on the rear widnscreen and front windscreen nothing major, although it is a bit deep. its also leakin from the bott and has a huge amount of water in it, and im gonna need a new rear bumper and boot, those are the bad things, the good things are, its got immaculate interior UNCRACKED dash, and pretty clean inside all round oh and its got tints, he was asking 2G and i haggled down to $700 u guys recon its a good price?

oh and another thing, anyone here got a 2TG/ 2T/3T hiybrid or a 3TG they might be selling down the track???? cos i'll be after one..

i know im being a bit rude and all but think about it you nagged the guy from 2 k to 700 bucks if people say it isnt worth it your not going to buy it.

think of what you have put the seller through.

you were going to pay for a 600 for a 23 with a seized motor this one you are saying has been looked after and the interior is immaculant. for 700.

and i do recall you saying there is a 18rg and box for 500 so add them up it isnt 3 unit maths

600 for 23
500 for engine and box in SA

total not including GST, postage, time, effort, conversion, etc... etc..
$1100 min

or TA22 with.....

P.S you are obviesly looking to do up a car. stop looking for a show pony cos you wont get one for 600-1000 bucks and buy a car that you think you can modify to your pesona.

you have got the help of toymods on that but you have not got the help when it comes to investing your money.

ok so i might seem a lil undecided i'll agree with you on that one, i was simply seeing if u thought it was a good price, even if u ahd said no its a shit price, i woulda said ok cool, but would still go through with it and buy it, and no im not buyin it cos its got tints, im just mentionin it cos its a nice lil feature. I can see where ur coming from tho, but it was jsut some input i wanted.
