Looking into getting some 10" wides on the rear of my track only sprinter for grip days and just want to know what to lookout for handling wise as I will be changing them back to 8" wides on days. I'll be keeping the 15"x8" -8's on the front all the time, will it cause understeer as the rear will have more rubber on the road than the front?
Another question is, if I get some 15"x8" -45's to fill the massively flared rear guards for drift days how will this affect the handling?
Rim wise I've figured that some 15"x10" -20's will fit without rubbing on the inside as the 15"x8" -8's have about 25-30mm space at the closest point to the inside body, this will mean that this gap will be reduced by 13mm with the 10 wide on it. I'll be getting some large flares for this as they will be protruding 37mm out from the guard.
As far as tyres I’ve found my links to drags have helped with Hoosier making Sports Radials in 23.0x9.5R-15 (item number: 46535) for $441 and Racing Wets in the same size(item number: 44590) for $590, according to the tyre size calculator are slightly larger than my 195/45 15's (+12mm radius, should fit...I think).
I've used the following pages to figure out tyre sizes and rim offsets for you playing at home:

Cheers All

Only thing I can advise if you are going to use 10in on a AE86 is to make sure you are packing plenty of BOOST!!!
Ya never want to be caught short of being able to pull a skid when its needed now do ya!
Cheers,
Jason

479RWHP on 50psi and 70psi hasn't broken her at the track!
what sort of diff do you have in there?
i had 15x9's -2 offset on my AE86 coupe, fresh from japland
with a 205/55 tyre on them they just scrubbed, once the gaurds were pumped a bit, was not an issue
the only problem i faced was continual wheel bearing failures... the diff that came in mine was essentially a T-18 rear drum brake end... (but had a trd 2 way and 4.3 gears), so i was not lucky enough to have the ae86 T series rear end with the wide bearings..
Sorry been away from toymods for a wile, ive got a 3UZ-FE so no boost just CC's, I'm running an F series diff with kaaz lsd.
