v700s hey Ty? I'll be keen to hear how they go from cold on that track, i've been temped to try a set in the past. Are they any particular compound?

If their performance from cold at wakefield is an indication they will be pretty bad lol

I didnt have an option of compound when I bought them and every set I've seen has been 50treadwear so I'm guessing its the only compound available. I had them shaved when i bought them and have done 2 track days, so they look pretty much like v710s now...

Should make for a very gentle launch as you peddle it out of the hole for a coupla minutes

haha yep, happily smokes 1st, 2nd, 3rd in the dry on cold semis, will need decent burnouts if the track is dry enough, not that I am apposed to burnouts

Weather looks ok for Sunday plus a reasonable turn up !!!!! Rain would be a bad thing as my tyres are shot , spent to much money on buying Sprinters to buy new ones . Any excuse !!!!!!

And amazingly, Todd and I came equal first in our class, with both of us getting a 50.04......

Yep, major kudos to Tyrie & Joe, excellent results. Was great to see Tyrie get a 49 on his first outing in the Datto and Joe was soooooo close - he deserved the 49 and a win but maybe next time. Enjoyed the chase!
