1JZ-GTE maintenance questions

G'day, just a couple quick questions about the 1J.

1. What should the spark plugs be gapped to??

2. What have people done when their coil packs have needed replacing?? Can you include costs as well.

3. What size fuel filter do people use for a stock 1J??

4. And the final question. What are some common faults to lookout for with the 1JZ-GTE?

1. .8mm stock. .7mm if modded. Just see if it blows the spark at .8mm first though.

2. Haven't done it yet but I will be getting Bosch HEC715's I think they are. I have a microtech but that shouldn't matter if they are still dumb igniters. I think a guy on SC has done it with stock ecu.

3. 10mm inlet and outlet. Is that what you want to know? That is for a bosch 044 setup.

4. coils, coil pack plugs, injector plugs, cam cover gasket, turbos dieing. That is all I can think of.
