sideshow does a box to fix this
i believe it has to do with the number of pulses from the speed senser
i had one at work doing this in a hilux with a crown ecu

assembly is just the opposite of disassembly - just you swear in different spots!
If it works when manually shifting, then its a wiring issue.
Most likely you've missed a +12V wire somewhere.
FYI, even when shifting manually you don't get all the gears. L is 1st, 2 is Drive, and D is Overdrive - ie, you don't have 2nd gear.
Do this for too long, and you'll damage the box.

i dont sorry, but it was just a black box about 75mm X 40mm X 20mm with 4 (? i think) wires out of it.

As long as you have 1 speed sensor, it will still work fine.
There is normally one from the dash to the ecu, just a single wire.
Wire that up, and it should work fine.

yeh thats all wiring up
the crown electric dash is all working and the computer his the two speed sensor wired to the ecu and still no shift
Mine did this when i blew the fuse for the 12v ignition feed to the Auto ECU.
