It's the start of Nav Run series!

Driver and Navigator are given route instructions to follow and clues to find en-route.

Competitors are timed and can loose points for missing clues.

The timing is based on completing the route at legal road speeds so a fast car isn’t essential for winning.

You will be driving on the suburban roads so road rules and speed limits apply (plus if you get busted, don't look to us for help). Being Friday night the traffic should be ok.

The event runs for a few hours and will end up at a takeway restaurant for a late-night snack and warm drink. There is a small entry fee ($5 i think) to cover setting up the route.

You NEED to bring:
-a UBD that's not too old
-several pencils
-a map board
-a map-light or torch to do same thing
-a stronger torch to see things on building/signs while you sit in the car
-about half tank of fuel
-a sense of adventure
-a sense of humour (for when you realise you read the route wrong a page ago)
-a mobile phone (for when you get badly lost).

Being run at night and with windows down for improved visibility, you might find things a bit chilly so dress to suit.
