Digi dash Conversion

Hey guys, im only new here but ive came over from OZcelica.. I currently own a ST162 coupe "going through some major repairs at the moment" but that aside i have found a digitial dash for a 1984-1985 celica or 1984-1986 supra... the dash was accually from a 84' supra.... now would one of these be the right size and fit into a 88' ST 162 ???

i dont know if the celica sensors would be different as well meaning they dont work? The pre st162 celicas didnt have a digital dash anyway, in fact did any celicas? Aussie pre 86 (ma61) supras all had digital dashes. However i think all Aussie 86-92 (ma70) supras had an analogue. I know for sure imports had both, but i thought all local jobbies were analogue. Someone correct me if im wrong plz.
As for an ma70 dash fitting into an st162 - you would have to measure it, but i dont think the st162's dashes are as wide??

i have an ma70 analogue dash (obviously the same size etc) if you want to try and see if that fits.

some Aussie MA70 Limiteds came with Digi Dash.

i know they came with them, because mine has one, although mine is import.

You also may wanna check out the "Dedicated ST162 Celica" thread in General forums, and head to about page 133. I just did an LED dash conversion in mine, and I took a lotta piccies that maybe you should take a look-see at, compare some notes between the two instrument clusters.

Think he didn't phrase it well - i think he meant that ma70's on a whole come with them (thus why he said his does), but so do the locally delivered limited editions.

I just go on my personal experience ive never seen or heard of one. I didnt think we even got the GT limiteds?
