Will 2tg cam's fit a 3tgte?

G'day.

I'm clutching at straws to find a pair of 3tgte cams and a mate said he has a 2tg head sitting there if it's any use.

Someone on rollaclub made the suggestion that 2tg heads will fit and perform well in a
3tgte will minimal work.

Can anyone confirm this? Even as a temporary measure so i can get the motor going

Only way to find out is to get them side by side and slot the 2T-G ones into the 3T-G head.

I have the pictures from this site of the twin spark head on screen whilst writing this. These pictures show the dizzy running off the inlet cam at the front/side so at least the inlet cam from a 2T-G cannot be used?
