I've heard a Honda belt fits. H22 .... ?
Hi all,
Where have you guys been sourcing your Beams timing belts from?
I have the Toyota part number, but I've been told they can't order them in.
According to some other forums the only alternatives are the HKS and Fensport belts, but the Bosch catalogue on their Australian site (link) lists part number BT777 as fitting the Altezza SXE10 3SGE, which is the Beams powered RS200. Since the blacktop and redtop beams belts are the same, this part should be fine right?
The only reason I'm a little hesitant is that of all the forum discussions I've read (mr2.com, 6gc.net etc) none of them have mentioned a Bosch belt.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!![]()

All good, finally found a dealer in Brisbane who could have one for me tomorrow.![]()
once you source it can you quote the make and part number
yeah i would also be interested to know, i thought the gen 3 might be the same but i guess not.
The part number I have is 13568-80015. I've seen this number quoted on a number of different reputable forums, so I'm pretty confident that it's correct.
The gen 3 belt is different I've been told. Apparently the belt required for the Beams is not interchangeable with any other Toyota, although I have heard of a guy using a different belt which supposedly worked.
that belt part number is correct.
Interesting that you are having problems getting it - i ordered one through toyota & had it next day (altezza rs200)
maybe time to find another toyota dealer - some just don't want to order in anything other than camry, echo etc mundane easy parts

assembly is just the opposite of disassembly - just you swear in different spots!
yes, toyota staff are hit and miss, they can all order stuff ex japan. but they don't seem able to get part numbers for JDM only engines/vehicles unless you have the correct jdm chassis number etc.
and some are hesitant to order parts from numbers you supply, but you have to pay upfront and there's not returns so i don't know what they're crying about.
i used melville and kalamunda toyota for peeps in WA. they're normally helpful.
dont forget about toyodiy for all your part numbers, save a heap of time if you get all your part numbers than getting them to look them up for you.
