also involved, drills, crow bars, sledge hammers, and what not haha
had to break spot welds on the bottom brackets for stock rad..so it would be low enough for bonnet to close shut
Put a skyline radiator into my ae82, 4ac engine.
Hardly goes over cold!
Had to wire the fans up without plugs, but works fine!

got any pics?
Have none at the moment, didnt take progress pics..
sits so high though hah
because stock one was stuffed, and i got this one for free....
That answer your question.
Another reason, i like trying new things, not just textbook boring crap
Maybe when ya get something for free, you will change that..
wasn't that bad, i just didnt have grinder, or spot weld drill bit...
If i had those two things, would be simple.
If every person did textbook conversions, show cars would die out..
Its not just about being different. Too much cooling can be detrimental to the cars performance and longevity, and they're not exactly known for having cooling issues as they come stock.
its no where near to much cooling.
But instead of running at 3 quarters, it runs at just over a quater.
Ever heard of a civic engine going into ae82? got the parts, but don't know if its possible
You sir, are a real smart ass.
Is it cause, i don't mess around and get off my ass to make things fit...
Unlike you, probably sit there with books, looking for easy boring things to do.
Yep got me on both fronts.. i am a smart ass... and i like doing boring easy things.
That is if by "boring easy things" you mean well thought out and well engineered modifications.
But each to their own as I said. You are right, someone has to be the pioneer of new ideas so all power to you.
So when do we get to see the photos of your pioneering?
